Have An Extra Room? Here’s What You Can Do With It

Many families desire to invest in real estate projects in Mumbai as it befits the needs of every member. However, over a period of time, circumstances and lifestyles change, like kids growing up moving away for college/work purposes, parents finding another spot near their work spaces. These progressions in life bring a similar change in the home, which is an empty room.

As members of the family go on to doing new things with their lives, away from home, the now extra room doesn’t necessarily need to be empty and useless. There are so many ways to spruce up or repurpose extra rooms.
Here are some ideas:

Movie theatre:

Are you a movie buff? Then why not reward yourself with an at-home theatre? If you’re a little old-schooled and have a DVD collection, then create an entertainment centre with shelves where you can store them. If you’re rolling with today’s generation, then invest in a great projector. Also, couches where you can curl in with loved ones is a great idea.

Home office:

None of us like bringing work, home. But, when we have to, well, we just simply have to. It does get difficult to work at home. Afterall, it’s a space of comfort and coziness. It is easy for the mind to wander in such a state. So, dedicate this extra room for your work. Add a desk and a comfortable chair. Add stationeries. Basically, just create work space that’ll motivate you to get your work done.

Reading room:

You can have a library/reading space like Belle too. Well, it may not come with that mesmerizing grandiose you saw in the movie, but hey, that’s where the interiors come in. Collect your favourite books and stow them with care in shelves. Draw inspiration from your aesthetic and the internet and create a reading space where the words by your favourite writers will increase the charm of it, infinite-fold!

Hobby/recreational room:

Who doesn’t have hobbies? It is truly rewarding to take time off and focus on that one thing you love doing the most. Put together whatever makes your hobby room replete and retreat to it when you want to hone your skills and just be happy.

Walk in closet:

When a 3 BHK home in Omkar Lawns and Beyond, a residential property in Mumbai, has led you to the moment where you have a spacious room that is no longer in use, turn it into a closet. It is easily one of the best features one can have in their homes. Say goodbye to crammy cupboards and say hi to a roomy walk in closet, where you can take your time to put together a great outfit.

There are endless ways on how you can repurpose extra rooms. It’s all about imagination and creativity. So, go on, transform that extra space. An important tip though, do make sure to acquire proper permission from the residence’s manager and hire only the best of help. Happy renovation!
